As a child, training with Sensei Mah was invaluable. It gave me confidence in myself, encouraged self discipline, and provided me with life skills I still use today. Now nearly 15 years later, I’m training again. Whether it’s for Exercise, acquiring skills, or as a sporting lifestyle, there’s nowhere else I’d rather be training. --Brandon Knorr |

As a couple in our fifties we were looking for a new opportunity to challenge ourselves physically and mentally. The emphasis on core strength and flexibility coupled with the resulting confidence of learning karate has been a perfect fit. The Tom Mah School of Karate has provided a perfect environment of challenge and respect, allowing us to progress individually and as a couple. We are huge fans of TMSK. --Tim and Arlene Schroeder |

My son has been taking Karate with Tom Mah since he was in Kindergarten and is now in his 6th year. In that time my son has gained confidence, strength, respect and patience. He always looks forward to his Karate lessons and takes pride in mastering his katas. Tom Mah is an excellent Sensei. He is a great mentor and teacher. I would highly recommend the Tom Mah School of Karate. --Elinor Sobon |

It has been about 15 months since I returned to Karate after a 10 year break. I had been busy with life and really missed the physical and mental aspects of Karate. After being back to training, I find that I am probably in the best physical shape I have been in years. I have much more energy, but I can also focus better on any mental work I am engaged in. The other students become friends and there is a great level of comradery. Everyone is very helpful and the atmosphere is one where you can ask questions if you are unsure about anything. It is certainly a humbling experience in that the more you learn, the more you realize how much you do not know. Being in the financial industry, there has been a significant amount of turmoil and stress over the past year or so. Karate allows me to take my mind away from this and concentrate on self-development, and focus on a life long learning. Thank you Sensei Mah for leadership and teachings. I would recommend that anybody who wants to learn Karate way of life should visit you at your dojo. --Danny Der |

Karate really is the 'whole package'. It stimulates the mind, body and soul. It is very challenging and rewarding without ever being boring! It really is more of a way of life than 'just another sport'. I find that the benefits that I have gained through my Karate training have carried over into my daily life as well. I have more self confidence and self awareness not to mention, I have never been this fit before in my entire life! For anyone looking for a fun, safe, rewarding and challenging environment, I would highly recommend Tom Mah School of Karate. --Carol Webb |
